Many have asked why in the world the Heartbreakers would continue to cover up the death of their lead singer. Music network VH1 recently revealed some incredible news: At least three people, including a Texas teenager, have recovered from comas while listening to the music supposedly performed by Tom Petty. Obviously, these amazing miracles have given a sense of purpose to those who have carried on the Petty legacy. Even if the music couldn't save Tom himself, his tragedy hasn't been in vain; it's provided relief for several other grief-stricken families. I think that's the way Tom would have wanted it.
